RECARO Kio i-Size

Ergonomic safety car seat with ECE 129 i-Size certification. The model will fit children aged 3 months to 4 years. And together with an insert for newborns, which is purchased separately, it is supposed to be used literally from the moment the child is discharged from the hospital. Up to a height of 80 cm, the chair is installed in the passenger compartment exclusively against the direction of travel, then the product can be turned forward.

The preferred car seat placement option is the Recaro i-Size Avan/Kio underlay with Isofix mounts, however, this base is often not included in the standard product package. The RECARO Kio i-Size has a three-position adjustment of the backrest angle, the height of the headrest and the built-in five-point seat belts change. To prevent twisting and slipping of the straps, the model uses HERO safety technology, which is a single system of shoulder pads, shoulder straps and head restraint. In side collisions, the impact energy is absorbed and effectively dissipated by the Advanced Side Protection (ASP) safety system. Holes in the body of the chair and mesh inserts in the cover provide good air circulation.
