These are, firstly, devices using steel or aluminium (including models available in any of these options, to choose from), and secondly, models for which “metal” is indicated in the characteristics, without specifying the material. Materials such as gold and titanium are at a higher level and are listed separately.

Moreover, if the gadget has a classic style and a round dial, then we are most often talking about steel and brighter and more unusual devices are often made of aluminium. As for the general properties of metal bodies, they are stronger and more reliable than plastic cases, retain their marketable appearance longer and look nice, but they are also more expensive. In addition, the metal has a slightly greater weight, although the massiveness for many users is more of an advantage, not a disadvantage.
