A balanced smart TV based on the Google TV platform, which provides convenient access to recommendations for viewing content on the start screen, depending on viewer preferences. The model's smart system boasts a built-in Chromecast and support for voice control commands via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The front panel of the TV is occupied by a QLED screen with a diagonal size of 50 inches and a 4K resolution of the broadcast image (3840x2160 pixels).
Unlike older models in the series (from C745 and higher), the display here does not have local dimming zones. The panel has a standard refresh rate (60 Hz), but in game mode it can be doubled by the Game Accelerator function. Specially for connecting game consoles, the TCL 50C645 provides HDMI version 2.1 ports with adaptive VRR and ALLM latency reduction technologies. The model was also equipped with high-quality acoustics from two 10 W speakers. The sound subsystem now has support for Dolby Atmos and DTS. The TV panel body rests on a pair of side legs, and at the back there are mounting holes for a VESA 200x200 mm wall bracket.
