Full-frame camera with an eye on professional videographers, "peeping" the image sensor of the Sony A7S III full-frame mirrorless camera. The model's hardware platform is based on a 10.2 effective megapixel back-illuminated sensor, supported by a powerful BIONZ XR processor and an advanced auto-focus system that covers 92% of the frame area. The camera uses a five-stage stabilization with a matrix shift, and an active cooling system is also implemented in it.

At the same time, the fan is placed outside the dust- and moisture-proof space of the case. 1/4” jacks are scattered over the entire surface of the camera for installing additional accessories to help the videographer. Now about the main thing — Sony FX3 body records 4K video at 60 fps from the entire width of the matrix or 120 fps with a small crop (about 10% of the image is cropped).

Footage is saved to UHS-II or CFexpress Type-A SD card memory (two separate slots provided). When using an external recorder, video output is possible via HDMI in RAW format with a colour depth of 16 bits. In addition to the standard set of image profiles, the camera has an S-Cinetone profile. For the sake of compactness, the model is not equipped with a viewfinder. It is proposed to be sighted on a 3-inch screen on a swivel hinge. With a body size of 129.7x77.8x84.5 mm, the camera weighs about 715 g.
