It is positioned by the manufacturer as a full-fledged replacement for Dremel network engravers, approximately equal to them in output power. Features backlight, soft start motor and EZ Twist mechanism for keyless tool change. The Dremel 8220-5/65 engraver comes with a large aluminium case. It is needed to store the tool itself, two batteries (2 Ah) with charging and 65 accessories for all occasions (the set contains almost all types of accessories for engravers from the huge catalog of Dremel accessories). In addition to the above, the case contains several very useful additional devices: a detachable handle, a grinding platform, a milling compass, a cutting attachment and a spark protection.
