Of course, the vast majority of plumbing tools of any kind, even famous brands, are made in China. However, a trademark is of great importance, and Black&Decker values its name and will not brand outright nonsense. I’m generally not a big fan of such sets, because most often they contain a bunch of ballast that you don’t use anyway. But in this case, the assortment is very suitable for me personally. A large, detailed and versatile set of drills, bits, wrenches and sockets for all occasions. If you calculate the cost of such an instrument by individual items or small sets, the amount will be at least twice as large. I'm not even talking about the branded four-section case, which in itself is very convenient. I regularly use bits, of which there are already 66 pieces. There are both simple and traditional options (PH1, PH2, PH3, PZ1, PZ2, PZ3, SL4, SL6, SL7.2, SL8) and less popular Torx star bits T10, T15, T20, T25, T30 and even exotic square ones S1, S2, S3. The most popular and traditional options are not only included in the kit in increased quantities (some 3-4 pieces), but are also additionally presented in an extended form up to 50 mm. There are also 9 socket heads (hex from 4 to 12mm) and 12 hex keys. In addition, there are 19 metal drills (good high-speed steel) and 14 wood drills, of which four are special, with an increased diameter from 10 to 20 mm. And finally, the kit included room for 4 drill bits for brick and similar mineral materials. It should be noted the high quality of the metal bits, drills and socket heads. Everything works as it should, at a confidently high level. If the quality of the metal of the instrument is excellent, then the quality of the plastic from which the case is made is not good. There are no questions about durability, but the smell is simply monstrous. |
